Toronto has a surprisingly solid Pokémon card scene. There are dedicated card shops, hobby stores, and a few hidden gems that are easy to miss if you don’t know where to look. We’ve been making our way around the city and these are our favorites we’ve found so far!

Clutch Games
Clutch has a good selection of singles in their showcase, slabs, and bins with under $10 cards, including lots of full art options. One of the more convenient things about Clutch is that you can browse singles online before making the trip and save time if you’re after something specific!
Pricing is a bit of a mixed bag. Some cards are very fairly priced and others felt a little inflated, but the bins alone are usually worth the visit. They have a ton of bulk to sift through if you’re after cheap cards for your themed binder pages too.
Address: 388 Spadina Ave, 2nd Floor, Toronto, ON M5T 2G5
Go for Game
Go for Game is tucked in next to Hey Noodles on Dundas and easy to walk past without noticing. There are binders to flip through, slabs, and singles, and the staff were really friendly when we visited. It’s also close to a few other shops so you can make a proper afternoon of it. We spotted a Stellar Crown Squirtle PSA 9 here for $130 CAD about a week before it exploded in value. Lesson learned! Just get the card.
Address: 478 Dundas St W, 2nd Floor, Toronto, ON M5T 1G9
Chonky Collectibles
Chonky is a newer shop with a smaller selection than some of the others nearby, but it’s worth stopping in if you’re already in the area. There’s a small free bulk section to dig through too, which is a nice bonus!
Address: 438 Queen St W, Toronto, ON M5V 2A8
Anime Alley
Anime Alley is one of our favourites in the city. They have a good selection of singles and some slabs, and the staff were great when we visited. They were passionate about the hobby and happy to let you take your time looking at cards even if you weren’t planning on buying anything!
Address: 667 Yonge St, Toronto, ON M4Y 1Z9
401 Games
401 Games is a Toronto institution for card games and hobby supplies. Singles are available on their website rather than in-store, but they carry a solid range of sealed product and accessories like binders, sleeves, and more.
Address: 431 Yonge St, Toronto, ON M5B 1S9
A&C Games
A&C has singles and a good amount of bulk to browse through. We found pricing on a lot of their singles higher than other spots, but worth a look if you’re in the area or after a specific card! It was pretty hectic when we went on a weekend, so worth going at open or on a weekday.
Address: 452 Spadina Ave, Toronto, ON M5T 2G8
Hobbiesville
Hobbiesville is a staple in the Toronto hobby scene. Beyond Pokémon cards they carry lots of other TCGs, trinkets, and collectibles, so it’s a good browse even if you’re not specifically card hunting. It’s popular and things sell fast, so setting up stock alerts on their site is worth doing.
Address: 9 Ossington Ave, Toronto, ON M6J 2Y8
Banana Games & Hobby
We haven’t made it to Banana Games ourselves yet but it’s high on the list. Singles are browsable online before visiting and it’s centrally located on Yonge. We’ll update this once we’ve been in!
Address: 530 Yonge St, 2nd floor, Toronto, ON M4Y 1Y8
EB Games
EB Games occasionally restocks cards in store, so it’s worth checking in if you’re passing by one of the locations!

Walmart
Walmart is worth a look for sealed Pokémon product if you’re out for an errands run. Stock varies and things go fast, but you can occasionally find booster boxes and tins at retail price if you catch a restock. They also do online drops that tend to sell fast. You can follow @celadonCA on X to stay on top of when those happen!

Final Thoughts
Most of the shops are close enough that you can hit a few in one trip. The Spadina and Dundas area is a great starting point, with Clutch, Go for Game, A&C, and Chonky all within easy walking distance. Anime Alley and 401 Games are a short trip east on Yonge if you want to keep the day going.
